Real Weddings

July weddings are perfect for our venue becuse the flowers are in bloom, the grass is green, and the sun is shinning (hopefully)! Marissa and Kellan were so much fun to have and their wedding was a blast. The only bummer about outdoor weddings in July is that they can get HOT here in the PNW and it was! The temp hit 100 degrees that day and we were worried but we had white umbrellas for extra shade and mist set up to help keep people cool. The shade from the trees was also helpful!

Marissa & Kellan decided to get married with our garden as a backdrop. If you want to do this and are open to suggestions then we suggest doing this in September or even the beginning of October! That’s when our garden will look the biggest! But July has some fun flowers too and were were able to pick some from our garden that morning to use on the tables. They used our wood benches for the ceremony and our tables for the reception. Becuse they had so many guest they rented a few tables and it worked out perfectly!

My favorite part of their wedding was watching them dance at sunset! Keep in mind that the sunsets LATE in the summer so be sure to plan ahead with your photographer or coordinator.
