The Greenhouse
Our venue includes two main features. The greenhouse is our biggest building and is a true greenhouse. It works best as a dance floor but you are able to use it for your ceremony if you have a lower guest count. People have also used it to get ready in! The lighting is stunning. It sits on the top of the hill and will be the first things guest see when entering.
The Garden House
The Garden House is one of our favorites. It’s small but it’s a great spot for photos! For weddings, people have used it as a hang out space, couples photos, a bar, and even a private place for a toast with their wedding party.
As you walk down the hill from the greenhouse you will end up walking through the garden house. Talk about a grand entrance! The Garden House also makes a great backdrop for a wedding ceremony. We have had a few couples stand on the steps while they say “I do”. It works beautifully because we can set up the benches on the lawn right out front.
The Garden
The garden changes every year but is always stunning! The best months for the garden will be July-October. In April we plant. In May things start to grown. In June everything is green and growing but nothing is big yet. By the end of summer everything is in full bloom and that’s when the garden will look the fullest. So even though it’s the hottest August and September are prime time!
The Field & Lawn
Our view is another favorite. We hear guest all the time raving about the view. The field is also great for photos. Like the garden, it also changes through the year. Currently, we have alfalfa planted. So in the spring it is green and by June the alfalfa is lush and tall. It usually gets cut around the 4th of July. There’s a period after a cutting where it looks pretty brown but then it grows and we have more green! Along with the field we also a big grassy lawn that we keep mowed. Many people use the lawn for their ceremony or for dinner/dancing. There are so many options!
